Gardner-Watson Decking is one of the nation’s leading sheet metal decking installers. We are looking for a Bilingual Recruiter with a strong background within the Construction industry to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring top talent. You'll play a vital role in ensuring compliance with labor regulations while partnering closely with project managers to meet staffing needs. Success in this position requires a proactive mindset, strategic approach to workforce planning, and the ability to thrive in a highly competitive market.

This role is based onsite at our Oldsmar, FL corporate office, so candidates should be local to the Tampa Bay area. (No relocation assistance is available). 

Key Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition: Proactively source and attract top-tier candidates throughout the country, using diverse channels such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and professional networks.

End to End Recruitment: Oversee the entire hiring process—from job posting and candidate screening to interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding.

Collaboration with Hiring Manager: Partner with project managers to assess staffing needs and ensure efficient, timely hiring.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all recruitment practices align with applicable labor laws and internal policies.

Onboarding Support: Facilitate the onboarding process to help new employees transition smoothly and effectively into their roles.

Talent Pipeline Development: Cultivate relationships with universities, trade schools, and industry organizations to support long-term talent acquisition strategies

Preferred Experience

·         A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience as a recruiter and/or sourcer is required.
·         Experience recruiting across both blue-collar and office-based roles strongly preferred.
·         Bilingual (Spanish) skills required.  
·         Certification or formal training in recruitment, HR, or a related field is an advantage.
·         Candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster relationships with candidates and new hires.

Compensation/Benefits

Salary: Competitive salary based on experience (Range from $60,000 - $70,000 annually, depending on qualifications).

Bonus: Annual bonus dependent on company performance.
