Performs periodic and required maintenance and repairs on all company property and equipment to maintain production, quality and safety.
| DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES |
· Reviewing and authorizing time and PTO Requests in Dayforce.
· Implement and enforce all company policies and procedures.
· Perform appropriate coaching of maintenance employees including reprimands and/or disciplinary actions as required, in accordance with company policy and in cooperation with department head.
· Contribute to annual employee performance reviews for department personnel.
· Maintain a high level of safety during shift.
· Schedules periodic and required maintenance and repairs on all company property and equipment as directed by operations manager, including but not limited to, welding, electrical, vehicle and machinery repair.
· Oversee maintenance employees, and maintenance employee training.
· Maintains and performs facility repairs.
· Prepare and maintain all work orders, relating to preventative and routine maintenance of equipment, machinery, company property, and building repairs.
· Oversee and generate warehouse-related purchase orders.
· Special projects as requested by management.
| REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS|
· High school diploma or Technical School Degree with appropriate mechanical and electrical skills.
· 2-5 years of responsible experience in building and mechanical equipment, maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Knowledge of equipment and automotive repair.
· Experience working with diesel motors.
