If so, S&R Enterprises is looking for our next Training Coordinator to work out of our Harrisburg, PA office.

At S&R Enterprises, we’re not just a steel erection company. We’re a team that believes in empowering people with skills that matter.

We are looking for someone who thrives with building connections, clearly communicating, and coaching others to reach their full potential. This person can turn a job site into a classroom where confidence and compliance grow side by side.

At S&R Enterprises, we know the difference between a trained and a transformed team. We invest in people because our mission is more than steel - it’s about strength. The kind that comes from unity, growth, and pride in a job done right.

What We Value:

  • Commitment to Outcomes: Everyone wins when we win together. That’s the energy we bring to every project.
  • Unified in Fire: We have each other’s backs when things get tough.
  • Be the Best: We’re proud of our craft and always ready for the next challenge.
  • Building Stronger: Whether it's relationships or results, we build things that last.
Our entire team lives out these principles daily.

A Day in the Life of Our Training Coordinator

Training isn’t about checking boxes - it’s about shaping the future of our teams, one job site at a time.

As a Training Coordinator at S&R Enterprises, you’re helping crews stay safe, build their skills, and walk away from every session more confident than they walked in.

When you do your job well, our people perform better, projects run smoother, and everyone gets to go home safely.

Please Don’t Apply If…

This role isn’t for everyone. You won’t thrive if:

  • You can’t travel or dislike being on-site. You will frequently travel to our job sites across the USA for this role.
  • You struggle with public speaking or clear communication.
  • Feedback frustrates you or you’re unwilling to adapt your training style.
  • You don’t believe safety is serious.

Who We Are Looking For

We’re looking for people who:

  • Are energized by helping crews stay sharp, safe, and confident.
  • Proactively communicate and know how to read a room.
  • Are organized, self-directed, and adaptable when plans shift.
  • Believe that safety isn’t paperwork. It’s a way of life.

Your Responsibilities as the Training Coordinator

As the Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and adjusting training to make sure employees have the skills needed for success. You will:

  • Ensure the Delivery of Effective Training Sessions: You'll be a road warrior, ensuring the delivery of craft, safety, and PM training.
  • Assess Training Effectiveness: From post-training quizzes to field observations, you’ll check what’s sticking and adjust your style for better results.
  • Champion Safety: Reinforce company and OSHA standards in every session. Make safety real and relatable to help our crews stay compliant and injury-free.
  • Be the Bridge on Site: Work directly with project managers and foremen to schedule and deliver training when needed. Align sessions with their timelines and goals.
  • Give Feedback That Matters: Bring insights from the field back to the content team and suggest updates that make training even more effective.

Qualifications

To succeed as a Training Coordinator, you must bring the right skills and experience to the role. The following are the minimum required qualifications:

  • 2–10+ years of experience in safety or coordinating training in construction or steel erection.
